Weekly Acting Class

Professional-level scene study work

Every Thursday from May 14 to July 16 2026

6-9pm at

the Old Diorama

This suits actors with some experience or training but is open to committed beginners who are ready to work at professional level.

From the Classics to Netflix our approach is always the same -

think first, feel second, be truthful.

An invigorating and intensive short-form experience in the hands of highly-trained professional actors who continue to work in the industry. This course will be helmed by

Robert Cavanah

Text-based choices + our imagination + our lived experience = truthful, compelling work.

We take us to the character, not bring the character to us - all to serve the author.

We use Text Analysis, Character Analysis, Characteristics, Given Circumstances, Actions...

to help you draw parallels between the text and the real world, between you and the role.

It is pair work so try not to miss a class - but everyone has a life so, we get it.

Students may film their last-day presentations for observational purposes.

Places limited to ensure a focussed working environment.

Price - £400
