Acting for Camera

11 week module every Thursday

January 14th to March 25th

6-9pm

@ theOldDiorama

For actors of all levels of training and experience.

From the Classics to Netflix our approach is always the same:

think first, feel second, be truthful.

Invigorating intensive classes delivered by classically-trained professional actors who work in the industry.

This course will be helmed by

Robert Cavanah and Cameron Jack

Using Text Analysis, Character Analysis, Given Circumstances and Actions, we'll help you draw parallels between the text and the real world, between you and the role, and strengthen your camera technique by shooting your scenes for your own review purposes.

You will work in pairs so try not to miss a class, but everyone has a life - we get it.

To serve the writer, we bring ourselves to the character, not the character to us.
